This is a 2-day group tour program focusing solely on the Gallipoli Peninsula. On the first day, you will visit the battlefields and memorials of the ANZACs located on the upper side of the peninsula. On the second day, you will see the Helles Sector, the main parts of the British campaign on the battle of Gallipoli.

This is a regular group tour program taking place with a group of 15-20 people from different countries and places. You may or may not be together all the time throughout the program.

Private tour arrangements can also be made upon request.

Day 1: ANZAC Sector Tour: You will be picked up from your hotel at around 06:00-06:15 in Taksim area or 06:30-07:00 in Sultanahmet area, then start driving for Eceabat, which takes around 5 hrs’ drive from Istanbul. You will stop on the way for a small breakfast break, then arrive at Eceabat at around 12:00 to meet with your guide and the rest of the group. You will have lunch with the group, then start the tour of ANZAC battlefields and memorials. You will see Brighton Beach, Beach Cemetery, ANZAC Cove, Ariburnu Cemetery, ANZAC Commemorative Site, Respect to Mehmetcik Statue, Lone Pine Australian Memorial, Johnston’s Jolly, parts of Turkish and ANZAC trenches standing up to date, 57th Regiment Turkish Memorial, The Nek and Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial. After the tour, you will cross the Dardanelles with a 20-min ferry ride, and check into your hotel. In the evening, you may go outside for a small walk through the streets of Canakkale and by the coastline, where you may also have a chance to see the actual Trojan Horse prop used in the movie Troy. Accommodation in Canakkale. (breakfast on the way, lunch before the tour)

Day 2: Helles Sector Tour: (check out from hotel in the morning) You will be picked up from your hotel at around 08:30 and cross the Dardanelles back to Gallipoli Peninsula. After a 20-min ferry ride, you will drive to Helles Sector, the main landing region of the British Troops during the Gallipoli Campaign. You will see Namazgah Battery, Rumeli Mecidiye Battery, the statue of Onbasi Seyit (Corporal Seyit) and hear about his unbelievable achievement, Memorial Summit of Alcitepe Hill (Achibaba) Turkish Memorial, French Cemetery, V Beach, Ertugrul Battery, Helles Memorial, Lancashire Landing Cemetery, X Beach, Twelve Tree Copse Cemetery and Alcitepe (Krithia) Village. After the morning part, you will return back to Eceabat for lunch break for about 40 mins. After lunch, you will have free time until 17:30, then you will get on the tour vehicle and start driving back to Istanbul. You will be dropped off at your hotel at around 22:30. (breakfast at hotel, lunch on the tour)

Alternative arrangements can be made instead of returning back to Istanbul upon request.

Note that this tour cannot be arranged on April 24th and 25th due to Annual ANZAC Commemorations.

The price is 160 EUR per person, including:

– 1 night’s BB accommodation in double/twin room at a 3* or equivalent quaility hotel

– 2 half-day regular group tours w/ professional guidance in English

– Lunch on the tours (except drinks)

– Entrance fees to the sites visited

– Transportation w/ A/C vehicles

The price excludes dinner, personal expenses and tips (optional).

If you are a single traveler, there will be an extra charge of 20 EUR.

Accommodation at 4* or 5* hotels can be arranged upon request.

Private tour arrangement: 

If you wish, you may also take this trip as private, with a vehicle and English-speaking guide reserved solely for yourselves.

The price for the private tour is 430 EUR per person, valid for a group of 2 people.
