ISTANBUL & BLACK SEA TOUR – 8 DAYS (ISTANBUL-TRABZON-UZUNGÖL)

An 8-day tour package visiting Istanbul and Trabzon with domestic flights. With this package, you will be having historical insight of the Old City visiting Blue Mosque, St. Sophia Museum, Topkapi Palace, Suleymaniye Mosque and Chora Church; and see the natural beauties of Trabzon, visiting Sumela Monastery, Altindere Valley, Surmene Village and Uzungol. This tour is operates with regular group tours in Istanbul and private tours in Trabzon.

Day 1: Arrival to Istanbul: One of our colleagues will be waiting for you at the arrival hall bearing a sign of Efendi Travel. He/she will accompany you to our vehicle and you will be transferred directly to your hotel. Accommodation in Istanbul.

Day 2: Istanbul City Tour: You will be picked up from your hotel at around 08:30. You will visit: Hagia Sophia , Blue Mosque, Roman Hippodrome Grand Bazaar After lunch you will see: Topkapi Palace , Hagia Irene   and the tour ends about 16:30 and back to hotel Accommodation in Istanbul. (breakfast at hotel, lunch on the tour) Please note that Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesdays and Grand Bazaar is closed on Sundays. Blue Mosque will not be visited on Fridays.

Day 3: Dolmabahce Palace Tour & Bosphorus Cruise: (check out from hotel in the morning) You will be picked up from your hotel at around 08:00-08:30 for Dolmabahce Palace & Bezmi Alem Mosque Tour. We firstly visit Dolmabahce Palace, recent residence for Ottoman Sultans. Famous with great collection of European antiquity, furniture and 4.5 tons chandelier, the palace has 285 rooms of 46 halls. After palace the next stop is Bezmi Alem Mosque. Then you will drive to the restaurant for lunch break. After lunch, you will first drive by Golden Horn shores viewing the City Walls, dating back to the Byzantine Era. Then you will get on the vehicle and drive to Eminonu, where you will get on the boat for a 2-hour Bosphorus Cruise. You will see the most impressive sights along the shores of the Bosphorus including Dolmabahce Palace, Ciragan Palace, Maiden´s Tower, Bosphorus bridges, Rumeli and Anadolu fortresses and Ottoman Residences. After the cruise, you will be dropped off back at your hotel at around 17:00. Accommodation in Istanbul. (breakfast at hotel, lunch on the tour)

Day 4: Flight to Trabzon: (check out from hotel until noon)You will be picked up from your hotel at around 13:00 to be transferred to Airport to take an afternoon flight to Trabzon. Upon your arrival, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel in Trabzon and Accommodation in Trabzon (breakfast at hotel)

Day 5: Trabzon City Tour: You will picked up from your hotel at around 09:00 for the tour of Trabzon and depart for Sumela Monastery, visit the 4th century Sumela Monastery, clings to a sheer cliff face in a deep forest, relax beside a fast flowing stream at Altindere Valley National Park, return to city center and visit Ayasofya Church, a 13th century church and study extraordinary collection of byzantine frescoes, depart for Gulbahar Hatun Mosque, Ataturk’s Mansion (a picturesque hillside retreat) visit Ortahisar Mosque (a Comneni cathedral in the old town) drive to Boztepe, enjoy your tea with the panoramic view of the city. After the tour, you will be dropped off at your hotel at around 16:00. Accommodation Trabzon. (breakfast at hotel, lunch on the tour)

Day 6: Surmene & Uzungol Tour: You will be picked up from your hotel at around 09:00 for the tour. Departure to Surmene – a pretty village which is popular with its good quality knives and we also visit the historical mansion of Memisaga Konagi. There will be a short visit to one of the local tea producer factories en route and we taste delicious and traditional Turkish tea. Around 13.00, we arrive in Uzungol where you will have free time for your lunch, pasturel walks and photograph opportunities. Uzungol – which is located in the middle of mountains, was formed by a landslide having blocked the stream bed is known as Uzungol and the town around was named after the lake. The houses of the village called ‘Å�erah’, which are harmonious with the environment, complete the beauty of the nature. At around 17:00, you will get on the vehicle and start driving for Trabzon, stopping for a short photo stop at Kiremitli Bridge and arrive at your hotel at around 18:30. Accommodation in Trabzon (breakfast at hotel, lunch on the tour)

Day 7: (check out from hotel until noon) You will be picked up from your hotel at around 13:00 to be transferred to Trabzon Airport to take 15:35 flight to Istanbul. Upon your arrival, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Accommodation in Istanbul. (breakfast at hotel).

Day 8: You will be picked up from your hotel depending on your flight time and will be transferred directly to New Airport . If you would like, we can make further arrangements in Istanbul and other parts of Turkey upon request.

Price: 1600 EUR per person in double/twin room. If you are a single traveler, there will be a 70% single supplement surcharge We offer a 5% discount for cash payments.
